Prior to my legal career, I served in the United States Navy, an experience that instilled a lifelong commitment to technical precision and a high standard of work. Today, I apply that same attention to detail to the complexities of the appellate process. I believe that an effective appeal is built on a thorough, exhaustive review of the trial record, ensuring that every legal nuance is identified and every potential error is addressed.

A graduate of Seattle University School of Law, I discovered a passion for the craft of legal writing early in my career. That passion has translated into representing clients in more than 100 appeals across Washington State. While the bulk of my experience is rooted in the complexities of criminal appellate law, those high-stakes cases taught me how to be creative and resourceful. I apply that same innovative thinking to every appeal, regardless of the subject matter, ensuring that no stone is left unturned.

When I'm not working you can find me driving my truck or riding my motorcycle to random places in the Pacific Northwest.
